Irony is the enemy of the post-modern left(tm)

I dunno, claims like this always sound a bit like Marty Schottenheimer saying he’d never work for Dan Snyder.

  • Rex Ryan in at the Jets

Apparently they were just waiting for the Ravens to lose and make him available.

  • I didn’t know losing was lucrative

Eli Manning may get a $100 million+ contract.

  • Is LT done in San Diego?

    Must…resist…Anchorman…quote.

Anyway, it certainly looks possible. The Campbell’s Soup Curse is pretty powerful. It took McNabb years to recover after he stopped endorsing them.

  • He got all up in arms over Donovan McNabb picking up a phone. Admittedly it was the Giants’ phone and a 15 yard penalty was called on it (I’d love to see that rule), but still.

Because shooting yourself in the leg indicates you totally deserve to play in the NFL. Or something.

  • Could TO be cut next?

I don’t think Jerry Jones is this smart, but it’d be awesome. Colin Cowherd was ripping Owens quite entertainingly on ESPN Radio this morning (that’s XM 140 or equivalent).

All good guys. I think Cris Carter’s a lock and I’d love to see John Randle get in although he’s probably a longer shot.

Looks like he’ll be the new defensive coordinator for the Packers, something they sorely need.

  • Yes, kickers do improve with age

Some damn statistics from Stefan Fatsis, who knows a thing or two about kickers. I highly recommend his book A Few Seconds Of Panic, in which he essentially became an unsigned rookie kicker for the 2006 Broncos under a special arrangement with the league and Mike Shanahan. (Of course, he was never allowed to play in an actual game or be on the final roster).
