  • Strange bedfellows

The FCC is considering further relaxing the rules so that Clear Channel may own every radio and TV station in the country. This has brought together Pat Robertson, NOW, and the NRA to oppose it, among others.

  • Hmm

Some magazine I’ve never heard of polled their readers to list the top 100 albums ever. While I agree that most of the entries deserve to be on the list, I could argue at length with the order. Since that’s entirely standard for this sort of list I’ll spare you though ;-)

Iran is closer than anyone knew to having nuke capability. Lovely.

Pallies are going to kidnap Americans in Gaza. Err, there are some?

Janet Reno still sucks. Nuff said.

Bush is betraying Israel with the “two state” nonsense.

    Arafat’s desk is back.

The UK Independent (home of Robert Fisk) misquotes Wolfy. But this is blogs, and we can fact-check your ass.

Pallie activists are planning to disrupt NYC’s Israel Day parade.

GWB’s in Poland telling them to ignore Grance and Fermany.

And finally, Canada wants it’s Jihad TV.

Frank J. has diplomatic tips for meeting with Jacques Chirac. The comments out-do him though, especially Hodadenon’s.

  • Congrats

US residents making over $26,600 a year are now “rich”, according to the Donks. How’s this work? The new tax cut benefits people all the way down to $26,600. Daschle and co are shrieking to anyone who’ll listen that the cuts “only benefit the rich”. Magic.

Robert Cringely has an interesting theory about Microsoft’s participation in the SCO debacle.

(Quick primer for peeps not as inside baseball as Zg and I: SCO (low on market share and money) is suing IBM claiming that IBM leaked Unix code (which SCO claims to own, although that’s unclear now) into Linux. MS responded by buying a Unix license from SCO, which is odd behavior at least directly).

(Hat tips: Binkley and Linux Today)
