Via Jane Galt, here’s a nifty collection of 7000 print ads from 1911 to 1955. It’s all quite fascinating – you can get in touch with the past in ways history books won’t let you. I especially love the WW2-era ads where the theme is usually “We can’t sell you anything now because we’re making war stuff, but please remember us ‘when the time comes’”.

RWN has a new design. It’s interesting. But the 5th horseman is clearly Michele. Not only is it true, but then we can avoid that whole sexism thing again.
