Z. and I both are extremely amateur about that stuff, but it’s certainly fascinating (in particular, Ken’s “Mean Green Meme” idea provides an excellent explanation of the (post)modern Left and why irony haunts them). Incidentally, we ran into Ken by very different paths – he via musician Stuart Davis and me via a Den Beste piece.
