Via a comment on LGF by freedomsound, here’s a new mideast peace project. Apparently their plan is to send Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman to annoy the Pallies to death. Or something. Anyway, it’s supported by Brad Pitt so you know the intellectual capacity is tipping the needle.

Steve cheats by putting bacon grease in his waffles. Ecstacy ensues, kinda. Marv and Maynard aren’t impressed though.

Incidentally, I checked out Apple’s new Windows version of iTunes and the iTunes Music Store (where you pay to download songs). The selection is fairly impressive, at least compared to MusicMatch’s similar service. And navigation in Apple’s store is much, much nicer than in MM’s. Plus they have some neat “celebrity playlists” where you can see what the likes of Michael Stipe, Moby, and Ben Folds are listening to and buy/download all the songs as a package deal.

ESPN has apparently fired Gregg Easterbrook. As Jonah Goldberg and others point out, it’s probably because he bashed Michael Eisner, and Disney owns ESPN, and not specifically due to his comments. (See Jonah and Ramesh discussing it on the Corner here).
See also this excellent post where it’s pointed out that Gregg’s anti-capitalism was pretty clearly the driver behind his original comments.

Joe Katzman suggests Allah root for the Steinbrennerist entity. Hilarity ensues, first in his comments, and then on Allah’s blog.

Bill Clinton is saying it’s a horrible shame he couldn’t convince Bush that bin Laden was up to something. Yeah, whatever, ass.

A poll shows 75% of Pallies support killing Americans and Jews. The whole “kill ’em all” theory sounds real good some days.

A group of Muslim charities and businesses in northern Virginia gave millions to Islamic terrorists, with a little help from the Saudis. Go figure.
