Kevin’s got the pictures to prove it. (Probably NSFW, but you know you wanna look anyway).
(For those who weren’t at least at one time seriously into Trading Spaces, MPDP is “Mindy Paige Davis Page”, hostess of that show. She usually goes by the more manageable “Paige Davis”).

Pat Buchanan has a new book coming out that sounds surprisingly like Michael Moore’s. Hint: if you don’t know the code, “neoconservative” can generally be replaced by “Joooooooo” in anti-war usage.

It seems someone else is making the sort of comparison I’ve been thinking of for a few weeks now. Consider the scenario: you have an incumbent President whom the opposition viscerally hates, and against him you’re running an uninspired (and uninspiring) old man who can charitably be described as “creepy”.
Now, am I talking about 2004 or 1996?
[Note: Yes, I thought Bob was creepy even before he did Viagra ads and was staring down the front of Britney Spears' dress for Pepsi].

Hillary just lost the election for Kerry. Not that I’m surprised, but just get a load of this. The DNC’s talking points appear to be “we’re taking your money away from you” and “Michael Moore is the new mainstream”. Wow. Just wow.
UPDATE: Val has more here. This leads me to wonder if Hillary would settle for running Cuba when the bearded dictator dies. Wouldn’t she make an ideal Caribbean despot?

The “military wing” of Hamas (because they’re real humanitarians otherwise) launched missiles at a kindergarten. Clearly an unprecidented act of bravery by the jihadis.

Lileks deconstructs the last Marx Brothers film The Big Store, and also bats around a door-to-door Kerry salesman like a cat. Now, given, her killer sales pitch was that Kerry would raise everyone’s taxes, and it’s hard to go anyplace but downhill from there, but Lileks does it with uncommon skill.
