Irony is the enemy of the post-modern left(tm)

Sounds like Bush is giving a classic speech – he’d almost have to since it started out with Cindy Sheehan being led away in irons. But check this out:
Yet there is a difference between responsible criticism that aims for success and defeatism that refuses to acknowledge anything but failure. Hindsight alone is not wisdom and second-guessing is not a strategy.

Saturday was the 20th anniversary of the Challenger disaster. I won’t bore you with my mundane-but-picture-perfect memories of that day and instead refrer you to psychiatric blogger Dr. Sanity, who was the assigned crew physician for that flight.
In particular, don’t miss this linked recollection of meeting Ronald Reagan at the memorial service. I now have an entirely new level of respect for the man.

Ted Kennedy came completely unraveled yesterday after his and Kerry’s filibuster attempt died by a large margin (even the infamous Gang of 14 voted to kill it).
ETA: Dan Riehl has synced Ted’s video to Blutarsky’s big speech from Animal House. Brilliant.

(Hey, it wasn’t even that hard to make it rhyme!). Anyway, the Israelis have cut off regular tax payments to the “PA”. So clearly somebody not stupid’s in charge there even with Sharon still in a coma.

The ACLU’s all weepy because we’re purportedly kidnapping the wives of terrorists in order to capture them. Now, I don’t see how this works in the first place. Most of these terrorists seemingly have wives for show and camels for go (if you know what I mean), but it seems the charges are probably false anyway. Misha’s got much, much more.

fidel castro got pwned by the US Embassy – they put up a news ticker (similar to the one outside of Fox’s studio in Manhattan) and flashed ‘subversive’ messages while he was standing nearby giving a speech.
