For his birthday, fan-favorite Tim Minear‘s new series Drive was green-lit by Fox, apparently for an April premiere. Should be interesting.

    Keep letting them talk

John Kerry last night made a speech about how our military men and women are “dumb”. I guess that includes him, eh? (Allah has audio and video here).

UPDATE: John McCain has fired right back. Here’s the quote (courtesy of Patrick Hynes):

Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country’s call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education. Americans from all backgrounds, well off and less fortunate, with high school diplomas and graduate degrees, take seriously their duty to our country, and risk their lives today to defend the rest of us in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere. They all deserve our respect and deepest gratitude for their service. The suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq, is an insult to every soldier serving in combat, and should deeply offend any American with an ounce of appreciation for what they suffer and risk so that the rest of us can sleep more comfortably at night. Without them, we wouldn’t live in a country where people securely possess all their God-given rights, including the right to express insensitive, ill-considered and uninformed remarks.

UPDATE 2: Kerry’s gone into full-on Chernobyl meltdown mode. That’s it. He’s done. He’ll never be President and he’ll be lucky to continue holding his Senate seat. (Click this link also to see Tony Snow blasting Kerry).

UPDATE 3: Dane has a bunch of awesome pictures of Manly John Kerry (and a lot more) here. Also, if you didn’t hear Rush Limbaugh today, he was in supremely rare and super-classic form.

UPDATE 4: Kerry just had another press conference where he said he will not apologize and it was just a botched joke. No, Senator, that’s what you are.

The UK Muslim schoolteacher who became a test case for refusing to remove her burqa now is admitting she didn’t do it out of deep belief, she had a fatwa issued on her by a mufti. Figures.

CBS is looking for people who are “nervous around Muslims” for a new reality show. I can’t wait to hear the premise for this one – is it “Wife Swap” with burkas?

  • Running scared

The Democrat running for the Senate in Virginia wrote a (fiction) novel that included incestual oral sex. The MSM wouldn’t even mention it but now they’re trumpeting that Lynn Cheney wrote a book with some sex in it and so everyone should vote Democrat. Mind you, Cheney is not running for any office.

  • Tucker Carlson tries it with a CAIR spokesman and the results are frankly just as revealing as when Donks talk.

Interesting: the CAIR guy pronounces “Muslim” as “moose-limb”. Misha would be proud.

  • It’s speculated that his sin was saying that he wants the US to win when asked by Lynne Cheney (you think the sudden rash of people asking MSMers that question is coordinated? Because it sure is useful).

O’Reilly went on Letterman and asked him if he wanted the US to win in Iraq, and Dave couldn’t answer the question. Ouch.

There are 77,000 dead people still registered to vote in New York. Moreover, several thousand of them *did* vote after they died, and by a 4:1 margin they were Democrats. Daley Jr. better step up if he wants to keep Chicago’s reputation as the center of Democratic corruption intact.
