  • Bagels: they’re dangerous

    A Pennsylvania woman had the police seize her newborn baby because a poppy-seed bagel caused a mild positive test for opiates. The hospital knew the test was prone to false positives (and they knew she’d been clean for her entire pregnancy until then) and they called the cops anyway.
