Given even the MSNBC panel was reportedly having trouble being excited over Teh Won’s speech, this isn’t too surprising.

As far as Ryan and Bachmann: I think the media ate it’s narrative about the two responses indicating a “split”. Ryan covered broad outlines, while Bachmann briefly filled in some specifics along the same themes. So they actually worked very well together as sort of a 1-2 punch.
