   That charming raconteur, crafty urbanite, and man about town has done it again. Who else could (or would) refer to a triptych of Mr. Potato Head? Who else would call his daughter Gnat? And who else would defend the Dell Dude and make you feel sorry that you hate him? Okay it was momentary, and I still find the Dell Dude an irritating moron, but it’s a good read and Lileks makes some valid points. Steven IS like Nimoy after Spock: only without a deal for six more movies.
   I don’t mean to give away all the good lines: but there are plenty more where they came from. You can’t read Shakespeare without quoting him, and you can’t read Lileks without gleefully quoting, emailing, and sharing the lunacy with everyone. I think we all want to write like Lileks when we grow up.
