Funny, didn’t he say you could keep the plan you have? (You can, literally, but the minute the bill passes nobody new will be able to sign up for existing plans, which is a bit too clever even for D.C.)

“Blue Dogs think the bill fails to do enough to reduce healthcare costs, jeopardizes jobs with a fee on employers that don’t provide health insurance, and would base a government-run healthcare plan on a Medicare payment system that already penalizes their rural districts.” If it didn’t directly affect their staying in power, would these guys be trying to stop it?

And no they wouldn’t, of course, to answer your question. The other question is, what jobs in this day and age don’t offer health insurance – even most tiny businesses do or they lose out to others who do.
