Gingrich is doubling down on supporting the RNC candidate, who’s actually to the left of her Democratic opponent. More here, and it’s being reported that if Scozzafava wins she’ll likely pull a Spectre to avoid a Republican primary challenge in 2010 (this is a special election for a temporary seat).
