  • A UK journalist who mocked President Bush in 2003 for falling off a Segway (and sustaining no injuries) fell off one today and broke 3 ribs. Perfect.

  • Running on fumes

The Kos crowd is outraged at a new book by a lefty journalist that suggests that all they have is personal hatred of President Bush, and they’ll have nothing for or after the 2008 elections.

Communist folk singer Pete Seeger has finally renounced Stalin. Uhh, what was your *first* clue that that wasn’t gonna work out, sir?

The Arab tribes in Darfur, having largely killed all the black people, are now shooting at each other. Insty gets accused of insensitivity for finding this generally positive, but he’s right.

  • Kossacks get taken for a ride

A diary was posted claiming to be relaying info from someone in the Navy that we were about to bomb Iran, with lots of Beauchampesque detailwords. Naturally this went over with the “netroots” like Ritz crackers with a cockatiel. Kos himself has now deleted the diary (and the 1,366 comments it got!) and linked to a debunk on a conservative blog (!)

More fun on the subject here from someone actually in the Navy.

Here’s the second censored Opus strip which was supposed to run today. It’s not funny either, although I was glad to see Bill the Cat.

The Hollywood anti-war barrage is about to begin. First up, a Brian de Palma flick that’s right up Scott Beauchamp’s alley. (And by that I mean it tapped a foot in the stall next to him, of course).
