BBC Radio interviewed (separately, I think, but in the same show) Lileks and one of both of the girls from the always-hilarious Go Fug Yourself (scroll down to “Programme 3”). Each interview is 45 minutes, and both seem to kind of cut in at the beginning (literally mid-sentence for Lileks) and cut out a little early at the end, but there’s plenty of great listening in between.

French government TV is suing critics of their Pallywood footage for defamation. Unlike in civilized countries, in France you can be guilty even if you’re telling the truth.

I’m a bit late posting this, but the NFL season’s officially started and Gregg Easterbrook is back at ESPN.

Also, rodomontade is in fact a word. Just don’t do it in front of the football gods.

    Oh, and the best line:

Hard as it might seem for [Brett Favre] to believe, the Packers’ season is not about him personally.

  • The other shoe

You knew this was coming ever since it was revealed that Oliver Stone’s World Trade Center was essentially non-partisan: he’s making a second 9/11 movie, all revved up with the conspiracy theories and everything else you’d expect. Don’t miss Ace’s suggested title.

Allah has edited together an 8-minute piece from the end of the docu-drama that has Donks foaming. It’s surprisingly well done and comes close to the “you are there” feeling from the French documentary.

  • As it happened

CNN posted all their original 9/11 coverage, and Allah’s editing it down into usable chunks. As a bonus, Charles is throwing in the infamous video of the parties in the “Palestinian” “Authority”.

ETA: Just so it’s more obvious, the 3 parts (via YouTube) are over at Allah’s.
