Lileks mocks The Day After Tomorrow plus an article from the New York Times proclaiming that Bush is a religious terrorist just like OBL. Uh huh.

  • Whee

Some people are putting together a project to send Iraqis pictures showing anti-war Americans as a sort of weird semi-apology. As you might imagine, it’s a bit easily mocked.

    Here’s one example.

Tim Blair has much, much more including captions, Photoshop, and the whole bit.

John Hawkins has another of his ‘random bloggers discuss the news’ roundtables. This one’s not as funny as last week’s (which featured the comedy stylings of Frank J), but still worth a read.

  • I was sent from Planet…

Roger Simon loved Team America (he saw it with LGF’s Charles Johnson, which must’ve been fun).

Note to those who haven’t seen it: there’s a bonus song about Alec Baldwin at the end of the credits. So don’t leave early.

UPDATE: uber-lefty Roger Ebert not only totally hates the movie, his review rather grossly misrepresents it (and contains several fairly major spoilers to boot).

Large chunks of this new Steyn column are recycled from one we linked earlier this week, but it’s still a fun read.

  • On the other hand

The normally pretty liberal Chicago Tribune (it’s the Sun-Times that runs Mark Steyn) endorses Bush on the basis that Kerry’s not credible to stop terrorism.

Although it’s headlined as a Kerry endorsement, it’s not actually if you look at the content.
