A new video is circulating by a man claiming he was in the Army and was ordered to kill civilians. Unsurprisingly his story is disintegrating on contact with actual MilBloggers.

2 Saudi men get on a school bus? In Tampa? Wearing trenchcoats in our 90+ degree heat? “No problem!” says CAIR. (In better news, their bail was revoked so the Feds can send ’em to Gitmo investigate further).

  • Check this out

Late start today – I started upgrading the harddisk on my main PC last night and it kept going and going before I had 2 usable operating systems again. Long story short: retail original (ie, pre-SP1) XP Pro won’t pass the “Genuine Advantage” check, and you normally have to pass the check to upgrade to SP1 now (whee). But anyway, Ace found the world’s most honest college paper.

People thought Columbia Pictures was keeping The da Vinci Code away from critics until the last minute to make it more mysterious. In reality, it’s for the same reason studios keep movies away from critics all the time: it sucks and they knew it. With all the major reviewers in, it’s pulling a Rotten Tomatoes score of 17%. Michael Novak runs down a few of the things that are wrong with it here.

Charles’ headline for this is too good to rip off so I won’t, but anyway. The Pallies lost a court case and have to pay big money to the family of suicide bombing victims. They’re now pleading with the judge claiming they have no money. And yet they can afford an endless supply of guns, ammo, and small rockets (one was recently fired towards an Israeli city but hit a chicken coop instead).

  • Oh. My. G*d.

The worst campaign ad ever. Imagine the creepy plastic Burger King, but replace him with creepy plastic Markos “Screw Them” Moulitas. This is the result. Pure horror. Fortunately the Creator of Worlds is ready and armed with Photoshopped and re-edited versions of the commercial.

Incidentally, this guy is running against Joe Lieberman, but oddly he never mentions Lieberman. It’s wall-to-wall “Bush = Hitler”. I guess this is a new liberal innovation: attack ads that attack politicians who have nothing to do with your race. (ETA: the second ad does mention Lieberman, but it’s still really attacking Bush).
