Impressive

The French foreign minister, citing that you can’t argue with results, now endorses the Israeli wall. Amazing.

  • He gets around

Mark Steyn got interviewed on video by Michelle Malkin. Very nice.

If you still can’t get enough Steyn after that, he was on C-SPAN for 45 minutes again the other day. Details and stream here.

This week’s Gregg Easterbrook NFL roundup includes a plug for the awesome Friday Night Lights TV series. FWIW, neither the movie nor the series are “about bashing football”. The book, while a classic example of what Jonah Goldberg calls “the exotic travelogue style” frequently employed by media elites in flyover country[1], also is not about bashing football, although it does smack around the residents of Odessa, TX quite a bit.

UPDATE: and here’s this week’s reader feedback, which includes references to Iran and Israel. Really.

[1] “They actually vote for Republicans” was used in the book as an example of how strange the people were. I kid you not.
