  • Ahh, figures

Turns out that being blind disqualifies you from being a parent, or so says the government.

  • Fascinating

The Democratic Leadership Council (which means “the Clintons”) is calling for Kofi’s resignation. There’ve been hints of Hillary running to GWB’s right on several issues lately (notably illegal immigration). Perhaps this is another play in that direction.

Since nobody wants to touch this one, let me make it more enticing: infinite drink alert. I’m serious.

  • Maiden name kerfuffle

The liberals have gone berzerk about Michelle Malkin because she copyrights her books under her maiden name for legal simplicity. (They claim this makes her a hypocrite for pointing out a Tuh-RAY-Zuh quote about her hypenated name). Michelle herself is of course not amused.

Update: LaShawn takes a few swings too, and throws in a bit about Historically Black Colleges for flavor. One of my favorite bits in the movie “Drumline” (set at a fictional HBC in Atlanta) is that the white character’s nickname was “AA” for “affirmative action”.

  • Different

The Gray Lady has discovered that Democrats and Republicans are different. Notable fact: Democrats really love Court TV (natch) and the Game Show Network (wha?!). This is the sort of leading indicator that I have no idea what it means.

  • Another one

Enjoy the 2004 Warblogger Awards, which includes voting input from me. However, despite a strong showing in the 2003 version, IoT is MIA in this year’s. And nobody I voted for won a category. Hell, most of who I voted for didn’t even show. Sorry to personal faves Synthstuff, LaShawn, and Hudnall – I did what I could.
