Inoperable Terran

Irony is the enemy of the post-modern left(tm)

Ya know

I can’t wait for the DVD of Alexander. Based on a survey of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, it could genuinely be worse than Battlefield Earth. We’re talking Colin Farrell spending 3 hours alternately crying and (literally!) limping his wrists, all while speaking in the thickest Irish accent in ancient Greece. (He’s topped only by Angelina Jolie, playing his mother, who apparently thought she was pursuing moose and squirrel, based on the accent). And best of all, the whole thing is apparently intended as a giant slam on The Bushitler™. I smell pure comedy gold. (What? It’s intended to be serious? Get out!)

Some jack@$$ is up in arms that the US government didn’t send a get-well card to everyone’s unfavorite last outpost of communism.

    Dear fidel:

Please follow your buddy Arafat as soon as possible. A similarly drawn-out demise would be terrific.

    Thanks!

  • …when elected, they prove why

Republicans in Congress have wasted no time acting like ninnies – first they attached a rider to the budget bill allowing Congressional staffers to pull random peoples’ tax returns and other IRS records, and now they’re trying to make it illegal to fast-forward through commercials.
