  • *blink*

The Greek Orthodox Church claims Israel is risking the “wrath of God”. Misha reads the Bible so they don’t have to.

    Damon’s got it.

Incidentally, Intel’s Core and Core 2 super-fast energy-efficient CPUs that got Apple to switch were designed in Haifa – apparently Intel’s facility includes a fully stocked bunker so the techs can continue to work even while being bombed by Islamofascists.

They drive around in trucks, park near some civilians, shoot a missile at Haifa, then take off at high speed.

  • Well, yes. That’s what they *do*.

The new Islamic rulers of Somalia have declared a jihad on Ethiopia, meaning they’re gonna slaughter countless *more* black Africans and you won’t hear a peep from Jesse Jackson.

  • The ultimate tour guide

If you’re thinking of seeing New York City sometime (and really, who isn’t?), forget all those regular travel guides and check out this one, which handily compiles the real-life locations of all the great sights from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.

As a bonus, if you have Google Earth installed (and really, you should, it’s a fun toy), the main branch of the New York Public Library (“on 5th Ave.”) is located at 40 degrees 45’11.19 N / 73 degrees 58’54.67 W. An elevation of 70 feet or so provides optimal viewing.

  • Lileks brings us former MST3K head writer Michael J. Nelson’s new thing: RiffTrax. Basically every so often he puts up an MP3 with a complete MST3K-style “commentary” for a movie. You play the DVD of the movie with the sound off and listen to Mike instead. (Roger Ebert’s done something similar, but I suspect his commentaries are a lot less interesting).
