Inoperable Terran

Irony is the enemy of the post-modern left(tm)

Welcome to freedom

Val had a fantastic Friday, leading to this exclusive story that the MSM didn’t want. More crazy people escaping from Danny Glover’s Paradise™? That ain’t news.

Andrew Sullivan is now demanding that Christians be “purged” from the government or some such. Ace takes the first swings, but the commenters (including the dearly departed Allah) do much more damage. The reliably trollish “Downtown Lad” doesn’t stand a chance.

  • Interesting

I don’t write much here about the Schiavo case because everyone’s already made up their minds and you can’t escape the news about it anyway, but this is interesting: Ralph Nader and Lanny Davis, both impeccable liberals, want her to live.

  • Hang the jury

A man who killed 19 illegal Mexicans, some as young as 5, by not turning on the refrigeration unit in his trailer (causing it to hit 173 degrees inside) was declared innocent escaped the death penalty because the jury couldn’t assign blame. Now, I hate illegal immigration as much as the next person, but this is ridiculous. Misha has the play by play.

  • Right talk

RightTalk.com has recruited Jeff Goldstein (Protein Wisdom) and Bill Ardolino (In DC Journal) to do a talk show. Their first one features guest Michelle Malkin and it’s both serious about immigration (Michelle’s favorite topic) and flat-out hilarious, as you’d expect from the man who writes “Random Alan Colmes Thoughts”. Click through and look for “The Citizen Journalist Report” – note that you will be joining the rerun “in progress” and it starts at :05 after every hour, so try to catch it from the beginning.

Ward Churchill will be punished for plagarism. Nothing about the “little Eichmanns” remark though, which speaks volumes about today’s academia.
