  • Good news/bad news

IoT-favorite TV writer/director/producer Tim Minear (when we take over the world he’ll be on our short list of People Allowed To Make TV Shows) has some additonal info on the behind-the-scenes of Angel, plus the announcement that he pitched a new show and a network bought it. The bad news: that network is Fox. (Fox isn’t 100% evil though – they’re not only leaving Bones alone to develop into our favorite Angelus-on-acid experience, they’ve already renewed it).

  • Here’s a great story that doubles as a restaurant recommendation. If you are or will be in the NYC area, check it out. Unless you’re a mass-murdering communist dictator, that is. Of course, the #1 advantage of living in Florida is that there are literally dozens of small family-owned Cuban restaurants with great food.

Mark Steyn on believing what Iran says. A popular theme, but nobody in any position of authority anywhere’s doing it so it bears repetition.

Muslims are calling on the UN to punish Denmark over those cartoons of the inventor of the moon god. I’m reminded of Hans Blix’s threats to Kim-Jong Il in Team America.
