Peace activists are threatening violence. That’s happened so much it’s played out now, but thanks anyway guys.

Here’s an interesting rundown of the origin of the word “Palestinian”, which is important since now the PC police are trying to claim that “philistine” was derived from it (that’s exactly backwards).

  • Cool

Hindrocket from Power Line and Kevin at Wizbang were quoted in a USA Today piece on the sorta-demise of Rather. (Isn’t it just like a Kerry fan to “retire” yet still be on 60 Minutes?)

  • Worse than turducken

From our “friends” the Saudis comes a very non-traditional meal: camel stuffed with lamb which is stuffed with chickens which are stuffed with hard-boiled eggs. I think even John Madden might give this one a pass.

  • Ya know

I can’t wait for the DVD of Alexander. Based on a survey of the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, it could genuinely be worse than Battlefield Earth. We’re talking Colin Farrell spending 3 hours alternately crying and (literally!) limping his wrists, all while speaking in the thickest Irish accent in ancient Greece. (He’s topped only by Angelina Jolie, playing his mother, who apparently thought she was pursuing moose and squirrel, based on the accent). And best of all, the whole thing is apparently intended as a giant slam on The Bushitler™. I smell pure comedy gold. (What? It’s intended to be serious? Get out!)
