  • About time

Preisdent Bush signed a bill banning the disruption of funerals. Of course, the ACLU’s already vowed to fight it.

  • Now *that’s* preemptive

The IDF got 4 Pallies while they were setting up rockets. Note especially that an AP photographer was *watching them set them up*.

Chris Muir sets it up: Madonna vs. the Dixie Chicks. Sidebar: you know Madonna’s in trouble when she stages a mock crucifixion and even the reliably outraged William Donohue of the Catholic League yawns.

  • That media bias

Hizballah in Lebanon (under control of the Iranians) fired rockets into Israel today. The IDF, naturally, bombed the camp the rockets were fired from. Guess how the MSM reported it? The LA Times’ headline was particularly deceitful, but they all suck.

  • Err, ok

The worst possible thing for the DNC this fall has happened: John Kerry is in the news again, going on about his Christmas in Cambodia (somebody cue the Dead Kennedys song). Apparently he’s also trying to smear the Swift Boat Vets again. On Memorial Day weekend. Man has the political sense of a week-old bagel.

UPDATE: Dane’s already got all the intelligence you need on the “Winter Soldier”.

  • Some sense in Congress

Bill Frist says the FBI’s more than welcome to investigate crooked Democrats. You think? Meanwhile the Congressional Black Caucus is tossing race cards. Of course.

Massive civil violence in Iran, and this time the mullahs are ordering the police to shoot people. That could get interesting in a way we’d enjoy, but I’m not holding my breath.

  • Greenhouse hypocrisy

When’s the last time you saw Michelle Malkin and Gregg “TMQ” Easterbrook both smacking around the same target? It’s easy when the target is Al “More Green Than Thou” Gore.

  • Doing something useful

The House passed drilling in ANWR. Excellent! Donks are expected to filibuster it to death in the Senate because that drilling might upset some of the billions of mosquitos that inhabit ANWR.

  • This puts him ahead of John Kerry

Jesse MacBeth posted an altered/censored version of his DD-214 (military discharge papers). He tried to make them show Ranger service (with his usual bad spelling leading the way) but more importantly he didn’t black out the rest very well so it pretty clearly shows he was bounced out of basic training for incompetance. Ouch.

UPDATE: QandO’s got his real DD-214. No joke, no Photoshop. It shows he was kicked out of the Army after only a month of Basic, as suspected.

UPDATE 2: Misha unloads both barrels, as is his want. Fake military creeps deserve no less.
