  • HARRY POTTERAMA: I got to

HARRY POTTERAMA: I got to see Chamber of Secrets tonight. My quick review: it’s great. Better paced than the first one, even more gorgeous effects, and the acting’s better too (although I kept half-expecting Alan Rickman to say “Mr. Potter, was Wisconsin really that bad?”).

Also check out the ongoing debate on if Harry is actually GWB. Really.

  • I’ve always maintained that Dennis

I’ve always maintained that Dennis Miller was a thinking man’s liberal, like Christopher Hitchens. Now I’m not so sure he’s a liberal anymore. Check out this Jay Leno appearance in which he refers to “the wockka-wockka porno guitar of the Clinton administration”. His stage show has drawn the ire of a lefty columnist, who predictably calls him “racist” for saying that Western culture is superior to the Region of Peace. (Link via Andrea Harris, who got it from Cato the Youngest).
