Jonah Goldberg dug up this Democratic Underground thread. Their server appears to be having trouble with the load of a good NROing, but the poster says something like this:

How long before liberals are rounded up in the streets and shot?

At the risk of being labelled “bloodthirsty” like many fine bloggers, my only response to that is “When can we start?”.

    Jeb Bush

We are pleased to report that our governor here in the great state of Florida will remain Jeb Bush. Woohoo!

UPDATE: It’s starting to look like a really bad night for the Donks elsewhere too. Elizabeth Dole has won in North Carolina, Saxby Chambliss has won in Georgia, and Norm Coleman is ahead of cryogenically preserved robot Walter Mondale in Minnesota. Drudge has put up “REPUBLICANS SMELL SENATE” with the rotating siren graphic.

ONGOING UPDATE: At 9:08 AM EST on Nov. 6, with 98.27% of precincts reporting, Coleman has a slim-but-decent 49.67% to 47.03% lead. CNN and several other news organizations are now calling Coleman the winner. That sound you hear is Terry McAuliffe packing his bags…

  • Freddie Mac is now offering

Freddie Mac is now offering zero-interest “Islamic mortgages”. Excuse me, I’m gonna go look up how to convert, ‘cuz that’s a BIG savings. Death to the infidel pig-dog banker!

UPDATE: Ok, this is less outrageous than Charles first thought. It seems you’re still charged interest, but it’s all rolled into the principle. So you’re actually screwed in one of these mortgages – you can’t make extra payments and reduce the interest charge, for instance.
